Are animals permitted in the terminal?
Only guide dogs and animals with travel documents are permitted in the area beyond security control.
Importing animals
Enquiries relating to import and export of animals are the responsibility of Jordbruksverket (Swedish Board of Agriculture).

Baggage
Lost or delayed?
If your baggage is lost or delayed please contact the airline you booked your tickets with. When your baggage has arrived you will be contacted by the airline to arrange delivery. If you are unsure which airline to contact, we recommend you contact the airline you travelled with.
Who do I call if I discover damage after arriving home?
Contact the airline or your travel agent.
Size and weight of baggage? How much does excess baggage cost?
Contact the airline or your travel agent. Size, weight and price of excess baggage varies depending on airline, destination and ticket classification.
Betting facility
There is no betting facility available at the Airport.
Cash dispenser
Located close to the checking-in counters.
Checking-in
Generally, checking-in must be completed within a specified time ahead of departure. This time varies depending on domestic or international services and the airline in question. Details regarding checking-in are specified in your travel documents of you can contact your airline.
Chemist
At present there is no chemist at the Airport. The nearest chemist is located at Bergnäsets (vårdcentral) local health center.
Currency exchange
A Forex office is located on the first floor at the Airport.
The Forex office in the terminal is open to coincide with charter flights and for booked services.

Flight information
Where do I find information covering departure and arrivals time for my particular flight?
This information should be available in your travel documents. If you have any queries these should be directed to your airline or travel agent. Under the heading Trafikinformation (Traffic Information) – in the menu on the left – you will find up to date information about flight arrivals and departures.
How far in advance of the flight departure should I be at the Airport?
Check-in closing times vary from airline to airline therefore you are advised to contact your airline or travel agent for specific times.
General questions
Certificate for the insurance company regarding delayed flight?
Issued by your airline or travel agent.
Hand luggage
No sharp objects are permitted in hand luggage, this includes knives, scissors, nail files and similar. These should be placed in checked-in baggage.
The size of your hand luggage must not exceed: Length 45cm, Height 20cm, Depth/breadth 35cm. This is a standard size but some airlines apply other sizes therefore you are advised to contact your particular airline for specific information.
Left luggage
This service is available at Luleå Airport. Contact Information for assistance.
A cloakroom service is also available: Price 60 SEK per item per week.
Deposit boxes covering a maximum of 14 days are available on the lower floor level.
Lost property
Articles that are lost or forgotten on the aircraft, at the airport or on the airport coach?
Artciles that are found at the airport are taken care of by Information at the Airport. Enquiries can be made on the telephone, +46 (0)10- 109 49 50 or by e-mail.
Articles that are left on the aircraft are taken care of by the airline or ground handling company.
Opening hours
Are the taxfree stores and other stores open early in the morning?
Yes, all the stores located after security control are open one hour before the first departure and close at the same time as the last departure from the terminal.

Security
Heightened Security Control at airports involves x-raying all baggage. Checked-in luggage will be subject to strong x-rays which will destroy, for example, unexposed film. Therefore you are advised to place all film in your hand luggage.
