Swedavia's environmental work

Swedavia (formerly LFV) is the first major Swedish company to have chosen to become climate-neutral. This means that Swedavia can now offer services that are produced without having an adverse impact on the climate. Swedavia (formerly LFV) is a state-owned airport company run along business lines which is responsible for the operation and improvement of 13 Swedish airports. Swedavia has some 2,600 employees. New EU regulations were introduced in November 2006 regarding security checks for flights departing from Swedish airports and cover domestic, EU and other international destinations. These regulations limit the quantity of fluids permitted in hand luggage.
